Operation Support Engineer (L1)

Experience and Skills needed

• Prior experience in application support or IT operations, including troubleshooting, incident management, and issue resolution.
• Basic knowledge of ITIL framework, IT service management principles, and SLA management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with functional testing, support ticket management, issue escalation, and system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders professionally.
• Service-oriented, proactive, and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous service improvement.

Project or system involved – brief description

The Incentive and Facilitation Stack comprises three core systems: two intranet-facing systems used by internal officers for application processing, claims validation and disbursement workflows, and one internet-facing portal used by companies to submit applications, claims and other incentive-related documents.

The L1 Operation Support Engineer will provide day-to-day operational and application support across these systems, including incident management, troubleshooting, ticket monitoring and escalation, functional testing, and coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and smooth service delivery in accordance with established SLAs.
