The Senior Manager plays a key role in shaping the long-term growth and strategic direction of Resorts World Sentosa's attractions (Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark and Singapore Oceanarium.
The role is responsible for driving strategic planning, transformation initiatives and partnerships across the Attractions & Destination Experience Business Unit to enhance visitation, guest engagement, commercial performance, and long-term competitiveness.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Planning & Business Transformation:
- Shape and drive the development of strategic plans, transformation initiatives, for RWS attractions and destination experiences.
- Oversee the annual business planning cycle, aligning stakeholders and translating long-term goals into integrated workplans and outcomes.
- Identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities to drive visitation, guest engagement, revenue growth, and market competitiveness.
- Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to support attractions growth, new guest experiences, and resort-wide initiatives.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across departments to integrate diverse inputs into unified and actionable plans.
- Partner with Consumer Insights and cross-functional teams to leverage market research, competitive benchmarking, and industry trends to inform decision-making.
Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships:
- Lead the identification, evaluation, development, and negotiation of strategic partnerships, including intellectual property (IP), brand collaborations, and sponsorships for attractions.
- Develop and apply structured partnership frameworks to assess opportunities, articulate partnership value propositions, develop business cases and proposals.
- Manage partner relationships and partnership performance, identifying opportunities to maximize value creation, optimize outcomes, and expand long-term collaboration.
Leadership & Governance Platforms:
- Lead the preparation of materials for management, board and government agency meetings; including stakeholder coordination, content consolidation and content review.
- Prepare and present strategic analyses, recommendations, and business updates to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, business planning, partnerships, business development, or related fields.
- Experience in project management, corporate planning and stakeholder management would be advantageous.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a good understanding of branding and marketing.
- Ability to synthesise complex information and data into clear narratives.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams of multiple functions.
- Highly organized with attention to detail, possess the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
