Job Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Control
• Plan and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently according to the production plan.
• Monitor production output, productivity, and manpower utilization.
• Production Line Supervision
• Supervise daily plating operations, including pre-treatment, plating, rinsing, drying, and post-treatment processes, where applicable.
• Ensure operators follow the correct work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Allocate manpower and arrange work assignments according to production requirements.
• Quality Control
• Ensure plated products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor plating defects such as uneven coating, discoloration, peeling, and poor adhesion.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) Department to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Chemical & Process Control
• Monitor plating bath conditions, including chemical concentration, pH, temperature, and other relevant process parameters.
• Ensure chemical handling, storage, and usage comply with established procedures.
• Coordinate with the relevant departments for chemical analysis, bath maintenance, and replenishment.
• Safety, Health & Environmental Compliance
• Ensure employees comply with workplace safety requirements and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of chemicals and plating waste in accordance with company procedures and applicable environmental regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions, chemical spills, accidents, and near misses promptly.
• Manpower Management
• Supervise, train, and guide production operators.
• Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and work performance.
• Ensure adequate manpower is available to support production requirements.
• Equipment & Housekeeping
• Ensure plating tanks, production equipment, and tools are properly maintained.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain relevant production records.
• Investigate production delays, reject rates, and process abnormalities.
• Recommend improvements to increase productivity, reduce defects, and minimize chemical and material wastage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
