Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Wireman (PW3) to join our Electrical Unit at ************* The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems at residential and commercial locations across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical wiring, installation, maintenance and repair works for AC EV charging systems.
• Conduct site inspections to evaluate electrical conditions, wiring requirements and installation suitability.
• Install EV chargers, electrical cables, isolators, protective devices and related electrical components according to approved specifications.
• Assist with electrical inspections, functional testing and commissioning activities under appropriate authorisation.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, charging interruptions, damaged wiring and equipment malfunctions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure EV charging systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Prepare installation records, maintenance checklists, service reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations, workplace safety requirements and company SOPs.
• Provide basic technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding EV charger operations.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a valid Wireman PW3 competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Good understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical wiring, installation and maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of electrical distribution boards, protective devices and troubleshooting procedures.
• Able to read electrical wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant working experience in electrical installation, maintenance or field service.
• Experience in EV charger installation and maintenance is an added advantage.
• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related field is an advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to assigned customer locations and project sites.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
