Who We Are

Double Dot is a software agency based in Petaling Jaya, specialising in building custom systems for banks, insurers, automotive brands and Fortune Global 500 companies. Our approach to building is simple - we figure out what the real problem is first, and then build the least amount of software that solves it.

Job Purpose

We're looking for web developers to join our team and help craft beautiful and scalable web applications. You'll take features from Figma and build them into production. A typical week may include building a dashboard for a bank's operations team, fixing a bug QA reported during SIT, and reviewing a colleague's merge request.

You'll work in a team with our designers, backend developers, other web developers, tech lead and project manager.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining high-performance and scalable web applications.
• Writing clean & reusable code to ensure maintainability and performance.
• Optimizing code to ensure speed and security.
• Crafting responsive designs to deliver seamless experiences across all devices and screen sizes.
• Working with our backend team on API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of building production apps with React and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Git - branches, MRs, resolving conflicts.
• Familiarity with consuming REST APIs.
• Solid CSS and an eye for when something looks off.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience with NextJS, unit testing and React Native is a bonus.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
