Materials Planner Executive

Location: CTRM AeroSystems Sdn. Bhd., Subang

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain management, material planning or production planning.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory control and ERP/SAP systems.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good communication, teamwork and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and monitor material requirements based on MRP and production schedules to ensure timely availability.
• Raise purchase requisitions (PRs) and coordinate with buyers to ensure orders are released according to supplier lead times.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or excess stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and update material planning records, forecasts and schedules in a timely manner.
• Monitor material deliveries and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve supply issues.
• Prepare material status reports and material impact assessments when required.
• Support production delivery targets by resolving material, quality, technical and logistics issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, inventory optimization and cost savings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
