Job Description

RedRadar International is hiring on behalf of our client for a Retail Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of a retail station, including the forecourt, convenience store, backcourt, and office areas.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, operational, inventory, sales, and administrative skills. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth station operations, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, managing staff and stock, monitoring daily sales and financial records, and preparing operational reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the daily operations of the station, including the forecourt, store, backcourt, and office, to ensure all station operations run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Monitor the forecourt area and station facilities, including fuel pumps, nozzles, storage tanks, discharge areas, vehicle entry and exit areas, signboards, toilets, prayer rooms, and surrounding areas, to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of all facilities.
3. Monitor store and backcourt operations, including stock availability, arrangement of products on shelves and in storage areas, chillers, gondolas, expired products, cigarette planograms, and accuracy of prices displayed on shelf labels.
4. Manage and monitor station inventory, including fuel stock, store merchandise, delivery receiving, Goods Received Notes (GRN), unregistered items, and station supply requirements to ensure sufficient stock levels and accurate records.
5. Manage daily sales and financial matters, including reviewing daily sales, e-wallet transactions, redemptions, cash float, petty cash, and fuel and store sales records.
6. Prepare and submit operational reports, including fuel and store sales reports, stock reports, Epay reports, and other daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by management.
7. Manage staff schedules and personnel matters, including roster preparation, attendance, leave applications, thumbprint records, and regular staff performance evaluations.
8. Monitor station systems and equipment, including CCTV, internet connections, store systems, and other operational systems, and liaise with technical teams or service providers when issues arise.
9. Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and cleanliness standards, including the Site Operation Safety Manual (SOSM), proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), station cleanliness, and timely follow-up on any maintenance or safety issues.
10. Perform other related operational and administrative duties, including managing invoices and credit notes, monitoring deliveries, coordinating repair and maintenance works, and carrying out other tasks as assigned by management.
