Job Responsibilities of a Beautician.
Greet clients, assess their beauty needs, and provide professional advice on suitable treatments, products, and services.
Skin Care Treatments:
Perform facials, exfoliation, skin cleansing, and other skincare treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Provide waxing, threading, tweezing, and other hair removal services safely and hygienically.
Apply makeup for daily wear, special occasions, weddings, or events, ensuring client satisfaction and desired results.
Perform nail care services including trimming, shaping, polishing, and applying nail art or extensions.
Wash, cut, style, color, and treat hair as per client requests and current trends.
Recommend and sell appropriate beauty products and treatments to clients based on their needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. Sterilize tools and equipment after each use according to health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of client services, preferences, allergies, and product purchases.
Schedule and confirm client appointments, manage bookings, and handle cancellations or rescheduling.
Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products through training and professional development.
Ensure a positive and relaxing experience for clients, address concerns or complaints professionally, and build lasting client relationships.
