Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible interns to join our kitchen team at US Pizza and Fish Manhattan. This internship provides hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, food safety, and restaurant service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Assist kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Assist with receiving and organising kitchen ingredients and supplies.
• Support the team during busy operating hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Monitor ingredient stock and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or seeking an internship in Culinary Arts, Food and Beverage, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Willing to learn and able to follow instructions.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required, in accordance with the agreed schedule.
