We are looking to hire an Associate to join a Family team whose clients are locally located. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Family team and have experience with matrimonial litigation. The role will at times be demanding and fast-paced, so you will need to be an efficient worker who can prioritise, multi-task, and remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a team of Family lawyers of diverse backgrounds and expertise
Draft legal documents and correspondence
Conduct legal research
Attend court hearings
Take instructions at client meetings and liaise with clients
Attend mediation or other settlement meetings
Requirements
Minimum 3 to 10 years PQE with experience in family law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Analytical, organised, and able to demonstrate initiative
Able to work as part of a dynamic team and also independently to meet deadlines
Proficient in PC skills, e.g. Word, Excel, etc.
