As an Client Manager at SoftwareOne, you will own and develop relationships with assigned customers, ensuring they receive maximum value throughout their journey with us. You will focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, strengthening long-term partnerships, and identifying opportunities to retain and grow accounts.

You will develop and execute account strategies, understand customers’ business objectives, and connect them with the right SoftwareOne solutions and services.

You will be part of a collaborative sales organization, working closely with Business Development Executives, solution specialists, delivery teams, and managed services professionals.

Together, the team works to understand customer priorities, develop relevant solutions, and deliver positive business outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building trusted and long-term relationships with stakeholders from IT teams to senior executives.
• Develop and execute account strategies focused on customer satisfaction, retention, profitable growth, and new business opportunities.
• Understand customers’ business objectives and technology priorities, positioning relevant SoftwareOne solutions and services based on their needs.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and acquire new customers through consultative, cross-selling, and value-based sales approaches.
• Collaborate with internal sales, solution, delivery, and service teams to coordinate account activities and support the successful delivery of customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate account information, opportunities, forecasts, KPIs, and financial data in the relevant sales platforms while taking ownership of the overall customer experience.

• Experience in account management, business development, or consultative sales within the technology, software, cloud, or services sector.
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow relationships with mid-sized or enterprise customers.
• Confidence in engaging stakeholders at different levels, including senior executives, and communicating the business value of technology solutions and services.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to develop account strategies, identify opportunities, and manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• A customer-focused, proactive, and results-oriented approach, supported by strong problem-solving and consultative skills.
