Hiring: Cybersecurity Analyst – Vulnerability Management

Employment Type: Renewable contract

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years

We’re looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to manage enterprise vulnerability assessments, analyse security findings and coordinate remediation using Tenable Vulnerability Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the Tenable Vulnerability Management platform.
• Conduct monthly authenticated and unauthenticated Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scans and periodic Compliance Assessment (CA) scans.
• Analyse findings, prioritise vulnerabilities based on risk and communicate remediation requirements.
• Work with application, infrastructure and security teams to validate false positives and non-applicable findings.
• Track remediation progress, outstanding risks and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Prepare assessment reports and stakeholder updates.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with Tenable Vulnerability Management or a similar scanning platform.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability analysis, scan authentication and risk-based remediation.
• Knowledge of compliance assessments and vulnerability risk management.
• Strong analytical, reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
