JOB PURPOSE

The Fragrance Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing expert product recommendations, and supporting overall store operations at the TRX Exchange outlet. The role also contributes to brand visibility through basic social media support, content sharing, and marketing engagement activities as guided by the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers and provide personalised fragrance consultation based on preferences and needs.
• Demonstrate product features, scent profiles, and brand uniqueness.
• Achieve assigned sales targets (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and provide after-sales support where required.
• Promote new launches, promotions, and exclusive offers.

B. Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong knowledge of all fragrance brands, collections, and seasonal releases.
• Attend training sessions on product features, selling techniques, and brand stories.
• Stay updated on fragrance trends and customer preferences.

C. Retail & Store Operations

• Ensure merchandise displays, shelves, and testers are neat, organised, and visually appealing.
• Assist with stock replenishment and arrangement on gondolas and display counters.
• Support cashiering duties (when assigned).
• Maintain store cleanliness and follow company grooming and hygiene standards.

D. Inventory & Stock Management

• Assist with stock checks, stock takes, and reporting of low stock levels.
• Ensure testers are in good condition and replaced when necessary.
• Report damaged, expired, or defective items promptly.

E. Social Media & Marketing Support (New Section Added)

• Assist in creating simple in-store content (e.g., product displays, new arrivals, daily highlights) for the company’s social media use.
• Support marketing initiatives by sharing promotional materials or campaign announcements with customers.
• Participate in brand-led content activities such as short videos, product features, or lifestyle shots (when required).
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and approval processes.
• Provide customer feedback insights to the marketing team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or beauty/fragrance industry is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on the roster.
• Comfortable creating simple content (photos/videos) for social media purposes.
• Passionate about fragrances, customer engagement, and sales.
• Physically able to stand for long hours in a retail environment.
