Operations & Recruitment Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a confident and people-oriented individual to join our recruitment team, with a strong focus on candidate outreach, calling, and appointment setting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking to people over the phone, enjoys having conversations, and is motivated by results. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential candidates, understanding their interests, following up with them, and securing appointments for the recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Outreach & Calling

• Make outbound calls to potential candidates and introduce relevant career opportunities.
• Follow up with candidates through calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
• Build rapport with candidates and understand their career interests, background, and suitability.
• Handle candidate questions and provide accurate information about available opportunities.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Appointment Setting

• Identify interested and suitable candidates and secure appointments for interviews or career discussions.
• Manage appointment schedules and coordinate meetings between candidates and the recruitment team.
• Follow up with candidates to confirm appointments and reduce no-shows.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, candidate responses, appointment status, and follow-up actions.
• Work towards agreed recruitment and appointment-setting targets.

Recruitment & Talent Sourcing

• Support the team in identifying new sources of candidates and potential recruitment channels.
• Explore different ways to generate more resumes and expand the candidate pipeline.
• Support recruitment campaigns, roadshows, events, referrals, and other talent acquisition activities.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future recruitment opportunities.
• Gradually take on more responsibilities across the recruitment process as experience develops.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, sales, telesales, customer service, business development, or a similar role is preferred.
• Candidates from Operations or Administrative backgrounds are welcome, provided they are comfortable with and open to making calls.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with new people.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, approachable, and able to build rapport quickly.
• Persistent and comfortable with follow-ups and handling rejection.
• Organised and able to manage multiple candidates and appointments.
• Proactive, target-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Recruitment experience is not required if the candidate has the right attitude and is willing to be trained.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
