Project Manager Intern (Malaysia)

As a Project Manager Intern at CloudMile, you will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams (including Sales, Cloud Engineers, R&D, and Marketing) across Malaysia and the wider SEA region. You will learn how industry-standard project management workflows are designed and executed in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers in tracking project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets across enterprise cloud projects.
• Help maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including Cloud Engineers, R&D, Sales, and Marketing—to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Support the team in facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to standardizing PM workflows across the region.
• Participate in client status meetings, assisting in gathering requirements and managing action items.

Basic Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of project management concepts and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative start-up culture.
• Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for digital transformation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Basic conceptual knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) and tech ecosystems.
• Active involvement in university student organizations or leadership roles in group initiatives.
• Prior internship experience in a technology, consulting, or fast-scaling company environment.
