Job Description:

·     Perform structural integrity assessments for offshore and energy sector assets.

·     Deliver fatigue and fracture mechanics studies for fixed and floating structures.

·     Support structural life extension and asset integrity management programmes.

·     Conduct engineering critical assessments (ECAs), fitness-for-service evaluations and defect assessments.

·     Develop and review structural integrity methodologies, reports and technical deliverables.

·     Undertake fatigue screening, detailed fatigue assessments and remaining life evaluations.

·     Support inspection planning and risk-based integrity management strategies.

·     Provide technical input to integrity management projects across offshore wind and oil & gas assets.

·     Review engineering calculations, analysis results and client deliverables.

·     Collaborate with structural, mechanical, inspection and materials engineering teams.

·     Interface directly with UK-based project managers, clients and stakeholders.

·     Support the development of junior engineers through technical mentoring and guidance.

Required Skills & Experience

·     Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.

·     Significant experience within structural integrity management, offshore structures or related engineering disciplines.

·     Strong understanding of:

·     Fatigue assessment methodologies

·     Fracture mechanics

·     Structural integrity management

·     Fitness-for-service principles

·     Engineering critical assessments (ECAs)

·     Failure assessment diagrams (FADs)

·     Experience supporting offshore oil & gas and/or offshore wind projects.

·     Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.

·     Ability to produce clear technical reports and engineering recommendations.

·     Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering consultancy environments.

·     Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
