Role Description The AI Governance Analyst / AI Governance Specialist / AI Governance Manager is a remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring governance frameworks for AI tools and data-driven systems used across Renew Plus Clinic. In this full-time position, the role involves assessing AI-related risks, ensuring alignment with ethical standards, privacy regulations, and clinical guidelines, and documenting policies and procedures for AI use in aesthetic and medical services. The role includes collaborating with clinical, operations, IT, and compliance teams to evaluate AI solutions, review vendor practices, and guide responsible deployment in patient-facing and back-office workflows. Day-to-day tasks include conducting impact assessments, maintaining an inventory of AI systems, tracking regulatory developments, preparing reports and training materials, and recommending improvements to enhance transparency, safety, and fairness in AI-supported decision-making.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures for responsible AI use.
• Skills in risk assessment, compliance review, and documentation related to AI, data protection, and healthcare or clinical operations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinical, IT, operations, legal/compliance) to evaluate and implement AI tools.
• Capability to analyze AI system performance, identify potential biases, and propose mitigation strategies to support fair and safe outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, guidelines, and training content for non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data privacy principles and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., healthcare data protection, international AI ethics guidelines).
• Proficiency in using productivity and documentation tools (e.g., spreadsheets, collaboration platforms, workflow management tools).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as data governance, information systems, healthcare administration, law, ethics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or professional certifications in AI governance, compliance, or risk management are an advantage.
• Prior experience working with or overseeing digital health, health tech, or AI-driven solutions in clinical or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
