Tanggungjawab
Clean, maintain and store dialysis equipment in accordance with established infection control and safety protocols.
Ensure adequate availability of medical supplies and equipment for daily dialysis operations.
Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment within the dialysis centre.
Assist in carrying out haemodialysis procedures as part of the healthcare team.
Perform needling of A-V fistulas and A-V grafts to initiate haemodialysis treatment, in accordance with clinical protocols and competency requirements.
Ensure dialysis machines and related equipment are properly checked and fully operational before, during and after each treatment session.
Clean and disinfect dialysis machines, work surfaces and patient chairs after each use.
Monitor and document patients' vital signs throughout dialysis treatment and promptly report any abnormalities to the nurse in charge.
Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during patient treatment and clinical examinations.
Perform other nursing duties as assigned by the Head Nurse.
