About the client

A well-established, independent (non-bank-owned) licensed trust company in Singapore is growing its trust administration team and hiring a Trust Relationship Officer.

This is a client-facing administration seat reporting directly to the Head of Trust Administration — you’ll own a portfolio of private and corporate trust accounts end-to-end and be the trusted point of contact for clients and their advisers. A genuine opportunity to deepen your trust expertise on a reputable, independent platform with direct access to senior leadership.

What you’ll do

• Administer a portfolio of trust accounts day-to-day, delivering exemplary client service and building long-term relationships
• Support new client onboarding — AML/KYC documentation, Source of Funds / Source of Wealth review — alongside the compliance team
• Draft trust documents (trust resolutions, letters of wishes) and support asset transfers into trust, including bank account opening
• Handle distributions to beneficiaries in line with the Trust Deed, and the collection and placement of earnings, dividends and sale proceeds
• Liaise with intermediaries — lawyers, tax advisers, bankers — on trust structures
• Conduct periodic reviews of trusts and estates, and flag any AML/KYC or risk issues promptly

What they’re looking for

• 2-4 years’ proven trust and company administration experience
• STEP qualified, part-qualified, or actively pursuing
• Degree or diploma (accounting preferred)
• A track record of earning client confidence and understanding client needs in structuring a trust
• Strong written and verbal communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under deadline
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
