RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics (SKBI).
• Produce high-quality academic research.
• Actively contribute to SKBI organized events (such as conferences) and participate in research grant/funding Applications.
• Assist the Director in research developments and training activities.
• Handle data collection, large data processing and large-scale data analysis.
• Conduct literature reviews and empirical analysis, implement advanced empirical models.
• Prepare project materials (e.g., presentations, progress reports, research outputs, grant documentations)
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD degree or postgraduate degree in relevant fields.
• A strong knowledge and research background in finance or economics.
• Ability to process big databases.
• A strong knowledge and research background in finance or economics.
• Excellent research skills, with preferred experience in banking, corporate finance, fintech and innovation,capital markets, AI and machine learning research.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
