Facilitate Change Management: Support change management for MEP activities by ensuring all proposed changes are documented, risk-assessed, coordinated, and reported through agreed channels.

Evaluate Vendor Maintenance: Review colocation providers' planned maintenance, testing, and upgrades, focusing rigorously on operational risk, system resilience, sequencing, and control mechanisms.

Oversee On-Site Maintenance: Provide oversight and coordination for routine and ad hoc MEP maintenance within data centers, ensuring potential impacts are communicated to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with internal Technology, Corporate Services, Security, Risk, and Operations teams whenever MEP activities pose a risk to business or IT services.

Monitor Energy & Capacity: Support the tracking and reporting of data center energy consumption, capacity, and utilization based on metrics provided by colocation facility operators.

Maintain Compliance Documentation: Keep precise and accurate records of all MEP incidents, changes, maintenance schedules, risks, actions, and supporting documentation.

Vendor, Commercial, and Safety Support

Vendor & Third-Party Coordination: Liaise with colocation providers, consultants, contractors, and third-party vendors to align MEP activities and project deliverables.

Monitor KPI & SLA Compliance: Evaluate vendor performance against service requirements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalating identified performance gaps through established governance channels.

Review Technical Documentation: Critically review vendor-prepared documentation, including Method Statements (RAMS), Risk Assessments, Permits to Work (PTW), maintenance plans, test records, and completion reports.

Enforce Health & Safety Standards: Monitor strict alignment with site Health and Safety regulations, proactively escalating any hazards, observations, or compliance concerns through agreed processes.

OPEX & Budgetary Support: Assist in the preparation, tracking, and forecasting of operating budgets related to MEP services and scheduled works.
