Your impact

We are seeking a Security Engineer to play a key role in the detailed design and delivery of mission-critical data centre projects. This position is focused on the engineering, design, coordination, and implementation of integrated electronic security systems across complex data centre developments, ensuring solutions meet client, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Accountabilities

• Lead the detailed design of electronic security systems for data centre projects, including
• Access Control Systems (ACS)
• CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Intercom Systems
• Perimeter Protection Systems
• Security Management Platforms (PSIM)
• Develop design calculations, system architecture, specifications, layouts, schematics, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate security designs with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, ICT, mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, client security requirements, and data centre operational needs.
• Support technical reviews, design workshops, tender documentation, and vendor evaluations.
• Provide engineering support through design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Review contractor submissions, technical documentation, shop drawings, and as-built records.
  
  

Here's what you'll need

We're looking for a technically strong engineer who thrives in the detailed design environment, can translate security requirements into robust engineering solutions, and is passionate about delivering secure, resilient, and world-class data centre facilities.

• With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Security Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ relevant years of experience in electronic security systems engineering, with demonstrated involvement in detailed design projects.
• Proven experience delivering security system designs for data centres, mission-critical facilities, hyperscale campuses, or other high-security environments.
• Strong understanding of integrated security technologies, networked security systems, and security infrastructure design.
• Experience producing detailed design packages and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Familiarity with security design software, BIM/Revit, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Professional engineering registration or working towards accreditation is advantageous.
