Responsibilities

• You must plan and manage IT projects and system enhancements, ensuring successful delivery within cost and schedule.
• You are expected to supervise technical teams, manage work assignments and resources, and ensure quality project delivery.
• You must design, analyse, code, and test programs for system development and enhancements according to user requirements.
• You are expected to liaise with IT, business, vendors, development, and support teams throughout the SDLC.
• You must identify technical constraints, recommend appropriate workarounds, and support business requirements.
• You are expected to monitor system performance and availability, identify improvements, and ensure system uptime meets SLA requirements.
• You must ensure timely resolution of application issues by assigning technical resources, executing recovery plans, and escalating critical problems where required.
• You are expected to ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, QA and SDLC procedures, security requirements, and audit requirements.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT application delivery and support or IT project management.
• At least 5 years of experience in application delivery and support and IT project management.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Unit Trust, Asset Management, and Investment-related systems.
• Strong technical skills in Core Java / Java EE (J2EE), including OOP, exception handling, multithreading, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API, Microservices, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in mobile architecture and development using React Native and React JS.
• Experience with CI/CD and build tools such as Maven and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, Postman, and JMeter or equivalent tools.
• Experience with RHEL, Windows Server, AIX, and Solaris Server operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, JBOSS/WildFly, IBM WebSphere, Apache Kafka, and API Gateway middleware.
• Strong Oracle database skills, including SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Apache HTTP Server and Oracle HTTP Server.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, and Grafana.

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
