Job Summary

Manage comprehensive accounting functions, including full set bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, tax reporting, accounts payable and receivable, project cost tracking, and compliance liaison with auditors and tax agents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts using Excel to ensure accurate financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and balance company accounts
• Prepare and submit GST reports (F5 and F7 forms) in compliance with tax regulations
• Process payroll for workers and top management, including CPF online submissions
• Close accounts monthly by recording and reconciling transactions accurately
• Prepare journal vouchers for cheque issuance and online payment transfers for accounts payable
• Manage accounts receivable by invoicing, billing, issuing statements of account, aging analysis, and recording collections
• Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections
• Record project costs and prepare payment claims (payment certificates) for accurate project accounting
• Process employee expense claims and manage petty cash disbursements
• Monitor cash flow for staff and top management using AIS system
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents to coordinate tax and accounting matters and ensure timely submissions
• Manage Employment Pass (EP) and Work Permit (WP) online applications, renewals, and cancellations
• Perform manual accounting tasks as needed to support financial operations
• Prepare Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for financial reporting
• Monitor and manage road tax, insurance, and related compliance matters through a centralized tracking system
