Job Summary

• Responsible for managing food preparation, planning expenses, planning menus, overseeing food handling including food hygiene and safety.
• Procurement of wet/dry raw food ingredients, kitchen equipment, storage management of wet/dry raw food stores as well as monitoring the maintenance of kitchen equipment and the cleanliness of the food preparation premises environment.
• Provide advisory services in food service development, premises planning and kitchen equipment as well as analytical and control expertise services related to food preparation.
• Participates in all emergency drills and environmental safety activities.
• Attend and participates in any training related with kitchen.
• Participates in the agency’s self-evaluation process and grantee monitoring visits and complies with any applicable Program Improvement Plans developed.
• Participates in general staff meeting and other meetings and events planned by the grantee and delegate agency as requested.
• Responsible to oversee the operations of the Cafeteria Services/Food Court/Food Outlets/Vending Machines.
• performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess SPM qualification and/or Certificate/Diploma in Food Service/Hospitality Management
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
