Position: TGM Engineer Process
The TGM Engineer Process is responsible for supporting the Site Manager in the daily management, operation, and maintenance of TGM site facilities. This role oversees operational activities, preventive and corrective maintenance, contractor performance, resource planning, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will lead a team of technicians, ensure the reliability and efficiency of site systems, coordinate emergency response activities, and serve as a key liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, maintains operational excellence, and ensures all maintenance, training, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Operational Supervision Maintenance

• Support the Site Manager in the overall execution and oversight of TGM site operations.
• Conduct daily audits and walkthroughs to ensure system integrity, housekeeping standards, and alarm reliability.
• Coordinate service schedules, manage maintenance works, and verify completion of all Preventive Maintenance (PMs) by the team.
• Monitor SCADA systems alarms and provide technical troubleshooting or operational assistance as needed.
• Supervise a team of shift technicians to ensure the safe, accurate, and timely completion of all operational and maintenance tasks.

2. Resource Contractor Management

• Supervise third-party contractors to guarantee work meets strict quality and engineering specifications.
• Manage inventory control, forecasting for gas supplies and spare parts.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to review manpower allocations and duty planning
• Verify the accuracy of administrative staff-generated timesheets.

3. Safety, Compliance Training

• Enforce rigorous health and safety protocols across all team members and contractors, consulting the Safety Officer on updates.
• Organize and lead emergency mock drills and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate, track, and audit all employee training documentation; deliver hands-on technical training to onboarding staff. Conduct formal and on-the-job training for technicians on standard operating procedures, best practices and preventative maintenance.

4. Incident Response, Reporting Client Relations

• Act as the primary on-site responder during supply interruptions; collaborate to troubleshoot and compile detailed incident reports.
• Serve as a key touchpoint for client communications and prepare comprehensive month-end operational reports.
• Drive continuous improvement plans to optimize site efficiency and safety.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of operations, maintenance, or facilities management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and contractor management.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial/utility operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of WSH regulations, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• Experience in leading teams, conducting technical training, and managing emergency response activities.
• Good planning, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to support after-hours and emergency operational requirements.
