• Valid Chargeman BO certificate under Suruhanjaya Tenaga

• Minimum 4–6 years experience with HV systems.

• Knowledge of electrical protection, safety, and system operations.

• Good understanding of the Electricity Supply Act.

• Able to handle Microsoft Office

Job Summary

Responsible for the operation, isolation, and maintenance of High Voltage (HV up to 11kV) and LV systems. Ensures compliance with ST guidelines while maintaining continuous and reliable electrical supply for facility or plant operation.

Job Description

• Operate and maintain HV switchgear (up to 11kV), transformers, protection relays, and LV distribution systems.

• Perform HV/LV switching, LOTO, and shutdown coordination.

• Conduct insulation resistance tests, thermography, and equipment inspections.

• Perform PM/CM on transformers, switchboards, MCC panels, capacitor banks, and motors.

• Respond to power failures and system abnormalities.

• Supervise electrical works and ensure contractors comply with safety standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation and electrical records.

• Assist in regulatory audits and ST compliance.
