Kerja Sepenuh Masa Tooling Engineer, Gaji tinggi MYR 5,500 di Luxshare-Ict (J) Johor - Maukerja

We are seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer to manage end-to-end tooling activities, client communications, and mold lifecycle operations. In this role, you will be responsible for customer tooling discussions (ECN, buyoffs, EOL, quotations), evaluating mold capabilities, and coordinating with Toolroom and external molders to ensure reliable production performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer & Project Interface: Lead customer discussions regarding tooling quotations, ECN modifications, tooling buyoffs, transfers, and End-of-Life (EOL) evaluations.
• New Product Development & NPI Support: Manage engineering and pre-production builds (SOP), evaluate new mold capabilities and capacity against quoted cycle times, and compile technical files/risk management documentation.
• Tooling Maintenance & Repair Coordination: Coordinate mold repair, modification, and maintenance activities with the Toolroom and sub-contractors (molders) to ensure fast recovery and minimal production downtime.
• Reports & Compliance: Generate Final Tool Approvals (FTA), Tool Repair Requisition Reports (TRRR), 8D quality incident analysis, and maintain the Tooling Management System (TMS) and audit readiness.

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma holder in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in manufacturing. (Plastic injection tooling manufacturing and molding process knowledge is a strong added advantage).
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read 2D/3D technical engineering drawings and familiarity with ISO quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949).
• Soft Skills & Flexibility: Proficient in MS Office; strong interpersonal skills for customer and vendor communication, and willing to support odd hours when urgent tooling issues arise.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
