Role Description The Accounting Intern will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations in a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, recording and updating journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The intern will work with accounting software to input data, reconcile accounts, and help with basic financial analysis and reporting. The role also involves supporting month-end closing activities, organizing documentation for audits, and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information. This internship is designed to provide practical experience in a professional environment while contributing to SuamiSihat’s mission.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Finance, including basic understanding of reporting, budgeting, and cash flow concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software and Journal Entries (Accounting) to accurately record transactions and manage ledgers.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support problem-solving.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software is beneficial; prior internship or project experience in accounting is an advantage.
