Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales & Sourcing Engineer to support our sales operations, technical enquiries, sourcing activities and procurement processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, principals and the external sales to ensure efficient sales coordination, competitive sourcing and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inside Sales & Sales Engineering

• Handle customer enquiries, RFQs and product quotations.
• Identify suitable products and technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales documentation.
• Follow up on quotations, purchase orders and sales opportunities.
• Provide basic technical and product support to customers.

2. Procurement & Sourcing

• Source electronic components, industrial products and technical equipment.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers.
• Request and compare supplier quotations, pricing and lead times.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Process purchase orders and monitor order fulfilment.
• Coordinate with suppliers on product availability and delivery.
• Monitor inventory and support purchasing and stock planning.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Strong interest in electronic components and technical products.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in electronics distribution, technical sales or procurement.
• Familiarity with science&technology products, eletricals and electronics.
• Experience handling RFQs, quotations, purchase orders and supplier negotiations.
