• Ensure that all incident reports are properly recorded and copies of which to be forwarded to the management.
• To ensure regular/planned/surprise inspections and/or visits are carried out of all duty posts as often as possible.
• To ensure all stores and equipment’s held on charge to the security department are properly accounted for and are in serviceable condition.
• To assist in conducting training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
• Stay updated on relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and industry best practise, and communicate changes and updates to the organization.
• · Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues.
• Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives, making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events.
• Act as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnel
• To assist in implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily
• Conduct safety observation reports on a regular basis, depending on the length of the project.
• Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation.
• Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations.
• To perform any other additional duties and responsibilities when requested by the management.

Audits:

• Conducting OH&S system audits to ensure compliance to OSH system and policies.
• Maintaining audit documentation and records.
• Provision of audit reports to management.
• Review and contribute to Safety & Policy and Procedures.
• Review audit/ non- audit action requests and determine trends.
• Conducting workplace OSH assessing and reporting of notifiable occurrence to government authorities.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
