Role Description:

As a Mortgage Consultant at Cashew, you will guide clients through the full mortgage journey, from initial inquiry to loan approval and post-completion support.

You will analyze client profiles, compare mortgage products and rates, and recommend suitable financing solutions using Cashew’s digital tools and real-time lender data.

Daily activities include responding to client queries via online channels and WhatsApp, explaining complex mortgage and refinancing options in clear terms, preparing and reviewing application documentation, and coordinating with banks and lenders to ensure timely processing.

You will collaborate with the broader team to refine advisory processes, improve client experience, and contribute feedback on platform features and content. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry and mortgage products, with practical experience in mortgages or mortgage brokerage.

• Background in finance or financial services, including understanding of interest rates, loan structures, and affordability assessments.

• Experience in mortgage lending or working with banks and lenders, including managing end-to-end loan application processes.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and manage client expectations across digital channels.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages used in Singapore is an advantage.

• Comfort with digital tools, online communication platforms, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-moving environment.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple client cases concurrently while meeting deadlines.

• Previous experience as a mortgage consultant, banker, financial advisor, or related role is preferred; relevant certifications or licenses in financial advisory or mortgage broking are a plus.
