Responsibilities

• You must manage and develop existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities across Malaysia and Singapore.
• You are expected to engage directly with engineers and manufacturing customers to understand machining challenges, production requirements, technical drawings, and clamping needs
• You must recommend suitable precision tooling, workholding, fixturing, cutting, boring, and finishing solutions based on customer applications.
• You are expected to conduct customer visits, coordinate product demonstrations and trials, and work with application engineers to develop appropriate fixture and tooling concepts.
• You must prepare quotations, follow up on commercial opportunities and orders, coordinate deliveries, and work towards agreed sales targets.
• You are expected to generate and qualify new leads through customer visits, referrals, inbound enquiries, digital channels, and industry networking.
• You must build strong relationships with customers across industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, semiconductor, oil & gas, and precision manufacturing.
• You are expected to coordinate with overseas principals and suppliers on technical enquiries, product selection, pricing, availability, and delivery requirements.
• You must support product training, technical presentations, customer demonstrations, and joint visits with principals and industry partners.
• You are expected to monitor market developments and competitor activities while maintaining accurate sales pipeline, customer activity, and forecast information.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline; candidates with a commercial background and strong technical exposure may also be considered.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within cutting tools, workholding, machine tools, precision engineering, or industrial automation.
• Good understanding of manufacturing or machining environments with the ability to engage customers on technical application requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; knowledge of CNC machining and GD&T is advantageous.
• Experience selling or supporting precision tooling, cutting tools, workholding, fixturing, or related manufacturing solutions is highly advantageous.
• Existing customer exposure within aerospace, semiconductor, or precision engineering industries in Malaysia or Singapore is an advantage.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, aerospace materials, or CAD tools is beneficial.
• Strong business development and account management capabilities with the confidence to engage engineers, procurement teams, and senior stakeholders.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
