My client, a boutique hedge fund, are seeking a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to help run its internal Windows environment in Singapore.

Windows is the primary desktop operating system at the firm, and many of its core infrastructure services run on Windows servers. Keeping these systems reliable and high-performing is central to the business. In this role, you will improve, automate and standardise the Windows environment. This is an opportunity for an individual to build out the Windows environment in APAC while working with wider individuals in the technology team to bring new ideas to the table.

The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with the inner workings of Microsoft Windows 10/11 or Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, and VMware. Experience using PowerShell (or Python or C#) to automate deployment, configuration, infrastructure as code and monitoring is essential.

You should have strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Kerberos, DNS and Group Policy, and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems and applications. Experience with hardware monitoring and performance tuning in physical or virtual environments would be highly beneficial.
