ain Tasks
Functional Tasks (Inclusive but not limited):
- You will draft, review, and negotiate until close out local or international contracts, agreements, using BASF approved templates and playbooks.
- You will provide legal and compliance support on various matters as assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time, including but not limited to documentary reviews, transactional due diligence, M&A projects, audits, compliance and legal investigations.
- You will manage the contract lifecycle, ensure process efficiency, and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of contract templates and knowledge management systems.
- You will interact with internal clients and external customers as required for your assigned tasks.
- You will perform ancillary tasks such as attending meetings, preparing minutes of meetings, presentations, usage of legal tech tools including AI, and handling translations.
Minimum Education And Qualification Required
- You have successfully completed your university degree in law or any related field
- You have over 4 years of experience in draft and legal review of contracts, preferably with commercial law emphasis. Open to experiences in contracts & agreement, procurement, quantity surveyor.
- You are fluent in Indonesian and English language, enabling you to successfully contribute to an international environment.
- You are used to work with legal databases and standard IT applications with familiarity with AI an added advantage.
- You communicate effectively and in line with the target audience and use value-creating opportunities for cooperation, both in-house and across units.
- Able to communicate with teammates and stakeholders effectively and timely, raise concerns, employ utmost respect, respectful of the chain of command and deploys courtesy in all aspects of your work.
- Your very good analytical skills, your goal-oriented approach and your pronounced customer orientation make you an important member of our team.
