Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security, cybersecurity, firewall administration or related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, security devices and troubleshooting.
• Experience with firewall configuration, deployment, administration and optimisation.
• Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or PCNGFE, or equivalent security certifications.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, support clients onsite and participate in standby arrangements.

Key responsibilities

1. Network infrastructure support

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and security devices.
• Support daily operations and network-related project implementations.
• Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure network availability, stability and security.

2. Network security and firewall management

• Configure, administer and troubleshoot firewalls and network security solutions.
• Investigate connectivity, performance and security-related issues.
• Perform device configuration changes, optimisation and corrective maintenance.
• Apply security best practices and support incident response.

3. Onsite technical support

• Provide onsite technical support at designated client locations, including data centres in Bangi, Bangsar and NTT Cyberjaya.
• Act as the primary technical contact for the client's IT team.
• Handle escalated technical incidents and coordinate Level 3 support.
• Provide standby support for planned maintenance and unexpected incidents.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,700.00 per month

Work Location: In person
