Basic up to $7,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Identify and acquire new customers in Singapore, with a focus on companies handling electronic components, maintenance and service parts, and related industrial cargo.

• Develop new business opportunities for the company-owned warehouse, including storage, inbound and outbound cargo handling, and associated logistics services.

• Secure import/export, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and domestic transportation business.

• Generate leads through industry contacts, business networks, referrals, and proactive outreach.

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, understand their logistics requirements, and propose suitable solutions.

• Prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert opportunities into confirmed business.

• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and operationally feasible.

• Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, transport providers, and other logistics partners to support customer requirements.

• Manage the sales pipeline, provide regular forecasts and progress updates, and achieve agreed sales and business development targets.

• Monitor market developments and customer demand to identify opportunities for warehouse utilisation and revenue growth.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of logistics sales and business development experience, with a proven track record of acquiring new customers.

• Relevant experience handling electronic components, maintenance and service parts, or similar industrial cargo, together with an understanding of their warehousing, handling, and transportation requirements.

• Good knowledge of warehousing, freight forwarding, import/export procedures, customs clearance, and domestic transportation.

• An established network of customers and logistics partners relevant to the target cargo segments in Singapore.

• Candidates from logistics service providers or the logistics divisions of trading companies are welcome, provided they have relevant sales and customer acquisition experience.

• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, proposal preparation, and commercial negotiation skills.

• Ability to develop business independently while coordinating effectively with internal operations teams and external partners.

• Strong commercial awareness and a results-oriented approach.
