You do not need to plan or conduct lessons independently. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside our teachers to support the children's daily routines, learning and well-being.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily routine care such as meals, toileting, diapering and rest times
• Support teachers during small-group activities and learning experiences
• Supervise and monitor children's safety and well-being
• Assist with transitions between activities and routines
• Interact positively and responsively with children
• Support classroom cleanliness, organisation and preparation of materials
• Assist teachers in maintaining a safe, nurturing and engaging environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
• Follow the centre's health, safety and operational procedures
