Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for business-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and operational issues.

• Perform data investigation, SQL queries, and root cause analysis using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL to identify and resolve application and data-related issues.

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders to support application changes and enhancements.

• Work closely with business users, application development teams, and technical stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, technical requirements, and implementation plans.

• Support the implementation of change requests, application enhancements, and fixes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational needs.

• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, defect tracking, issue resolution, and validation of test results.
  

  Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Application Consultant, Technical Business Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or in a similar role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including writing queries, analysing data, and investigating database-related issues.

  • Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 application support in a production or business-as-usual (BAU) environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, particularly in data investigation and application-related incidents.

  • Good understanding of the end-to-end SDLC, including requirements gathering, impact analysis, development coordination, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.

  • Experience managing change requests, application enhancements, and defect resolution.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users and technical teams.

  • Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
