Key Responsibilities

-         Support the trading and hedging of crude oil derivative products.

-         Monitor market developments, price movements, fundamental data, and geopolitical events impacting crude oil markets.

-         Assist in the development and execution of trading strategies and risk management initiatives.

-         Perform daily market analysis, position reporting, profit and loss monitoring, and trade reconciliation.

-         Work closely with risk, and finance teams to ensure accurate trade capture and reporting.

-         Build and maintain market models, pricing tools, and analytical reports to support trading decisions.

-         Develop market intelligence and provide insights on supply, demand, inventories, refining economics, and macroeconomic trends.

Key Qualifications

-         Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

-         3+ years of experience in energy trading, commodities, derivatives, risk management, or a related analytical role.

-         Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

-         Good understanding of futures, derivatives, and financial markets.

-         Advanced Excel skills; experience with Python, VBA, or data analytics tools is advantageous.

-         Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
