• Last Saturday of each month: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Recovery Officer cum Field Visit Officer to follow up on overdue financing accounts and conduct customer visits.

The role involves 80% field visits and recovery activities and 20% data entry and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Field Visits and Recovery — 80%

• Conduct visits to customers’ residential or business addresses to follow up on overdue payments.
• Contact customers to understand their payment difficulties and obtain repayment commitments.
• Discuss repayment arrangements within approved authority limits and refer requests for rescheduling or special consideration to management.
• Deliver authorised payment reminders and correspondence.
• Verify customer addresses and contact details through approved procedures.
• Plan daily visit routes and prioritise assigned accounts.
• Monitor payment commitments and follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Conduct all recovery activities professionally, respectfully and confidentially, in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.

Data Entry and Reporting — 20%

• Record visit outcomes, customer feedback and payment commitments accurately in the company’s system.
• Update account status and follow-up actions promptly.
• Prepare daily field visit reports and recovery updates.
• Maintain supporting records and escalate disputed accounts or unresolved cases to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with the recovery and administration teams to ensure accurate account information.

Requirements

• Experience in debt recovery, collections or field visits is preferred.
• Willingness to spend approximately 80% of working time conducting field visits.
• Good communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned accounts.
• A valid driving licence and access to reliable transport for field duties.
