Job Description – Logistics Assistant

Job Summary
The Logistics Assistant supports the company’s daily moving and delivery operations. The role will assist with arranging jobs, coordinating drivers and workers, updating job information and communicating with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with arranging daily moving and delivery jobs.
• Coordinate with drivers and workers on job schedules.
• Help prepare simple job sheets and work records.
• Update the status of ongoing jobs.
• Contact customers to confirm job details and timing.
• Assist with basic checking of vehicles and work equipment.
• Keep simple records and documents properly filed.
• Inform the supervisor if there are delays, customer issues or operational problems.
• Perform other simple logistics and operational duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• No formal education qualification required.
• No prior logistics experience required; training will be provided.
• Able to follow instructions and learn on the job.
• Able to communicate with customers and team members.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
• Basic ability to use a mobile phone for calls, messages and work updates.
