Job Summary
You will lead menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen team management to deliver authentic Indian and Turkish cuisine. Ensure high hygiene standards, control food costs, and maintain quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Develop menus for Indian and Turkish cuisines considering seasonal availability and customer preferences
Oversee and execute food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and quality standards
Manage and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations and teamwork
Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning procedures
Control food costs by minimizing waste, managing inventory, and adhering to budget constraints
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes served
Order ingredients and supplies, managing inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking
Create and experiment with new dishes and flavors from Indian and Turkish culinary traditions
Apply deep knowledge of Indian and Turkish cuisines to deliver authentic dishes
Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Organize kitchen tasks efficiently to maintain a clean and productive workspace
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, management, and customers to support smooth operations
Adapt to changing kitchen environments and work effectively under pressure
