About the Roles

Join a precision manufacturing environment as a Mechanical QC Inspector based in Woodlands, conveniently located near the MRT. This is a permanent position working 5 days, Monday to Friday, from 8.15am to 6pm, with a competitive package comprising Basic Salary + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect incoming materials, work-in-progress components and finished products, including semiconductor and precision components with tight tolerances, to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional checks using Mitutoyo Quick Vision, calipers, micrometers, gauges and other inspection instruments.
• Record inspection findings accurately and maintain quality documentation and product traceability according to established procedures.
• Identify, document and report defects, non-conformities and other quality concerns, and follow up on required corrective actions.
• Work closely with Production and QA teams to investigate quality issues, determine causes and implement timely solutions.
• Participate in root cause investigations and support the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support internal and external audits, customer inspections and other quality-related activities to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Monitor recurring quality issues, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to process enhancements while following company procedures, industry standards and customer-specific requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Quality Control experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on experience with inspection methods, measurement procedures and precision equipment, including Mitutoyo Quick Vision, gauges, calipers and micrometers.
• Proficiency with Mitutoyo Quick Vision programming is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with practical experience in root cause analysis.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work independently in a hands-on production environment.
• Able to commit overtime when required.
