MANPOWER EXPERIENCE (JIT VERIFIER)

Contract: 1 Year

Location: Kerteh, Terengganu

Summary:

Responsible for carrying out Joint Integrity (JI) activities, identifying and inspecting bolted flange joints, checking workmanship and tools, maintaining JI documentation, and ensuring compliance with JI procedures and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• JIT Fitter (Joint Maker / Bolting Technician) Training — Pass CCA.
• JIT Inspector & JIT Verifier Training — Pass CCA.
• SPM, VCE, or equivalent.
• More than 5 years’ experience in BFJI.
• Minimum 3 Turnaround / Shutdown experiences in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry including OGSP Certificate.
• Must be available on site at all times during the works to monitor quality standards and workmanship.
• Responsible for implementing the Joint Integrity Management Procedure, Joint Integrity Management Training Syllabus, and Joint Integrity Management Work Process.
• Responsible for the JIT monitoring system and maintaining JIT records.
• Control of Joint Inspector Performance Measurement.
• CIDB requirement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify the correct bolted flange joints based on the Joint List and equipment/drawings.
• Perform activities in accordance with the PCEPE JIT procedure and assist with CCA.
• Prepare and correctly complete JI tags and JICS.
• Conduct walkabouts with Operations Personnel to identify joints for blinding/de blinding, assembly, and tightening.
• Assess site access, height and space restrictions, scaffolding requirements, and work-area obstructions.
• Obtain the recommended bolt-tightening method and torque value from the Mechanical Static Engineer.
• Ensure safe working conditions and that tools are correctly sized, inspected, tested, and suitable for use.
• Check hydraulic torque wrenches and bolt-tensioning equipment, including valid calibration and inspection stickers.
• Inspect joint working surfaces and notify the relevant parties of defects found on flange surfaces, bolts, and nuts.
• Supervise joint execution and certify joint completion as the contractor’s representative when confirmed as a competent JIT Inspector with a JIT Visa card.
• Ensure JI activities, leakage-control steps, and acceptance criteria are followed.
• Verify and approve completion after start-up in accordance with the acceptance criteria, record details in JICS, and ensure housekeeping and tag removal.
• Compile reports, records, lessons learnt, and other relevant documentation for closure; remain on standby
