Job Overview
The Finance Intern will assist the Finance Department in day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including financial documentation, data entry, reporting support, audit preparation, and administrative finance tasks.
The intern will gain hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, project finance monitoring, treasury processes, and internal control procedures within a fast-paced healthcare technology and project-based environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in daily finance and accounting operations including filing, documentation, and record maintenance.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice checking and supporting document verification.
- Assist in preparing payment listings, reconciliation schedules, and financial reports.
- Assist in organizing and compiling documents for internal and external audit requests.
- Support month-end closing activities and preparation of accounting schedules.
- Assist in data entry and updating accounting records into the accounting system.
- Assist in maintaining proper filing and safekeeping of financial and accounting documents.
- Support preparation of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring schedules.
- Assist in project finance monitoring and tracking of project-related expenses.
- Assist in preparing Microsoft Excel reports, templates, and analysis schedules.
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain supporting documents and information required by the Finance Department.
- Ensure proper compliance with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Perform administrative and ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management from time to time.

Skills and Experience
Academic Qualifications
Currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
