Role Description The Section Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, responsible for overseeing a designated section of the store to ensure strong sales performance and an excellent customer experience. This role includes managing daily floor operations, monitoring product availability, organizing merchandising and visual displays, and ensuring that company standards are consistently met. The Section Manager supervises and supports section team members, coordinates shift schedules, provides coaching and feedback, and promotes a positive, inclusive work environment. The role also involves tracking key performance indicators, implementing promotional activities, and collaborating with store management to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in retail floor management, including supervising a team and coordinating daily store operations.
- Experience with merchandising and visual presentation, ensuring products are displayed to maximize customer interest and sales.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Basic understanding of sales reporting and performance metrics, with the ability to act on data to improve results.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required in a fashion retail setting.
- Prior experience in fashion or apparel retail at a supervisory level is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
