Role Description

Build and maintain relationships with affluent banking customers through responsive service and appropriate financial solutions. Understand customers’ financial objectives, coordinate banking and wealth services, and support sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining suitability, confidentiality, and risk controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ financial circumstances, goals, liquidity needs, and risk preferences.
• Develop relationship plans and maintain regular customer engagement.
• Coordinate deposits, payments, lending, investment, and protection solutions with authorized specialists.
• Support onboarding, customer due diligence, periodic reviews, and account maintenance.
• Conduct financial needs discussions and make recommendations within professional authorization.
• Explain product features, fees, risks, and relevant terms clearly.
• Prepare customer meetings, portfolio reviews, and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate service requests and resolve issues with operations and specialist teams.
• Maintain accurate customer records, assessment documentation, and activity reports.
• Identify suitable acquisition, retention, and relationship expansion opportunities.
• Monitor customer feedback and escalate complaints, unusual activity, and control exceptions.
• Follow approval procedures and protect personal and financial information.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

• Priority Banking Executive: Support customer acquisition, servicing, appointment coordination, and referrals, with sales or advisory responsibilities determined by authorization and experience.
• Priority Banking Relationship Manager: Own an assigned affluent customer portfolio, lead needs assessments, and coordinate suitable banking and wealth solutions.
• Premier Banking Relationship Manager: Manage relationships within the bank’s premier segment, providing coordinated service and access to specialists based on customer needs and segment offerings.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in banking, wealth management, financial services, relationship management, or customer-facing sales.
• Understanding of retail banking and wealth products relevant to the position.
• Strong communication, listening, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain financial products and risks clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
• Familiarity with CRM and banking systems.
• Sound judgment, professional integrity, and discretion.
• A degree or diploma in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant licenses, examinations, or professional authorization required for assigned activities.
• For relationship manager roles, experience managing customer portfolios and delivering commercial outcomes alongside customer and control standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving affluent customers or developing referral networks.
• Relevant wealth management, investment, insurance, or financial planning qualifications.
• Familiarity with portfolio reviews, secured lending, and financial needs analysis.
• Experience collaborating with investment, mortgage, insurance, and credit specialists.
• Additional language skills relevant to the customer base.
• Demonstrated ability to retain customers and resolve complex service issues.
