Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Johor Baharu. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for hard disk drive mechanical components. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing production data, implementing process control methods, troubleshooting process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality, efficiency, and yield. The role also involves supporting new product introductions, preparing process documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Process Engineer will work closely with operations, quality, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement and support a stable, high-performance production environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Process Engineering and Process Design skills to develop and optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Candidates should possess solid Process Control and Analytical Skills to monitor performance, interpret data, and resolve process deviations.
• Candidates should possess a background in Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplines relevant to manufacturing and process development.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with manufacturing and quality tools (e.g., SPC, DOE, root cause analysis) and familiarity with lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) and prior experience in high-volume manufacturing is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
