Tanggungjawab

Responsibilities

  • Ensure profitability of Marine classes of insurance in line with company’s business plan and MTP.
  • Ensure sound underwriting decisions through proper risk assessment process.
  • Establish, develop and maintain core business partnership with intermediaries, clients, reinsurers and other business partners to secure business opportunities to ensure long term superior underwriting results.
  • Excellent customer service is extended to internal and external customers and within the set service standards at all times.
  • Generate useful market intelligence through close monitoring of market trends and identifying potential areas to grow.
  • Ensure compliance with code of conduct and TM UW guidelines.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administrative, Economics or Insurance related such as AMII, ACII, AII ANZIIF and DMII.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marine underwriting.
  • Good communications skills - written & oral
  • Good analytical and problem solvingskill.
  • Solid knowledge in underwriting of Marine risk assessment.
  • Good market knowledge in Marine products.
